How would you feel if every time someone mentions a certain number you would see it in a certain color, the same color each time? If whenever you heard a specific note being played, you would see it colored red, and every other note would bring to mind a different color? If whenever you heard a specific syllable you would feel a certain taste in your mouth, of potatoes for instance? People with synesthesia feel these sensations on a daily basis ― a feeling of mixed senses. I was interested in surveying this wonderful phenomenon, and so I interviewed people with Synesthesia and designed an informative book that conveys their personal experiences and feelings ― by using typography and visual images.
